The BET Awards 2018 was made that little bit sweeter with R&B stars H.E.R. and Daniel Caesar sharing the stage at the Microsoft Theatre.

The talented musicians treated the Los Angeles awards show, hosted by Jamie Foxx on 24 June, to a dose of their heavenly vocals, performing their critically-acclaimed collaboration Best Part.

H.E.R, real name Gabi Wilson, opened the set with her ethereal album track Focus, before being joined by Caesar for their joint number. Paying homage to a former iconic duo, H.E.R and Caesar closed their performance with a brief cover of Lauryn Hill and Dโ€™Angeloโ€™s 1998 duet Nothing Even Matters.

Just a few hours after the BET Awards performance, it was announced that H.E.R. would be supporting Childish Gambino at his London show later this year. Following the success of his โ€œwokeโ€ track This Is America, Gambino, real name Donald Glover, will headline the O2 Arena on 4 November. Tickets are on sale from Friday 29 June at 9am via Live Nation.

The BET Awards saw a host of other performances from artists including Nicki Minaj, who performed her latest single Chun-Li, taken from her forthcoming album Queen. Clad in red PVC, the 34-year-old rapper was joined by Big Sean and 2 Chainz for their collaboration Big Bank while she also sang Rich Sex.

Paying tribute to lifetime achievement recipient Anita Baker were Marsha Ambrosius and Ledisi, who sang a medley of the iconic singerโ€™s hits such as Sweet Love and Caught Up in the Rapture. British rising star Ella Mai also gave a standout performance of her gorgeous summer smash, Booโ€™d Up.

Taking us on a trip down memory lane, Snoop Dogg brought the audience to their feet with an appetising medley of his biggest hits. However it wasnโ€™t long before the legendary rapper took everyone to church with songs from his new gospel album Bible of Love.

Other performances came from Meek Mill, Janelle Monae, Migos and Miguel. Watch all the performances below if you missed it.
