Rumours are rife that Destiny’s Child will reunite on-stage at Coachella 2018 during Beyonce’s headline performance. However, the news is literally new to Kelly Rowland who says the girls have not spoken about the possibility of a reunion.
Beyonce, 36, will perform at the Indio, California music festival in April 2018 after she was forced to pull out this year due to her high-risk pregnancy with twins Rumi and Sir Carter.
Over the past few weeks, fans have speculated that Beyonce’s Destiny’s Child sisters Rowland and Michelle Williams will be sharing the stage with her reminiscent of their Super Bowl halftime show in 2013.
Reacting to the rumours, Rowland, 36, told People: “I have no idea about any of that. I just asked a fan about that. They were like because it’s just cool. They used the L word and said legends. I mean, I gladly accept that very much but it’s nothing that we recently talked about.”
Beyonce added fuel to the reunion rumours earlier in December when she wore an AC/DC t-shirt but covered the “AC” so only the “DC” was visible. Williams also posted a photo of her Super Bowl outfit on Instagram with the bee emoji and all of this so-called evidence pieced together was enough for most of the Beyhive.

While a question mark still lingers over the DC reunion rumours, Rowland did confirm that she will release solo music in 2018. The Motivation singer teased: “2018 new music. What I’m excited about [fans] most to hear is probably stories I’ve never told on this album. I haven’t released a record in five years.”
Destiny’s Child split in 2004 after releasing four studio albums and the hit singles; Say My Name, Independent Women Part I, Survivor, Bootylicious and Bills, Bills, Bills.
